Slip N Slide

This past Saturday, after the ladies ran the Hobble Creek 1/2, we went over to the Wings' house for a nice, chill lunch. The kids broke out Kate's pool and new slip-n-slide. Well, the slip-n-slide was a huge hit. It was so cute to see Tyler and Kate play on the slide in the back yard. Tyler is such a water boy and had sooo much fun crawling under the water sprays from the slip-n-slide. Oh...to be a kid again!

Tyler & Bodie Playing

Here's a cute, quick little video I shot a few weeks back. We were visiting my aunt and uncle one evening. They have 2 dogs and Tyler was playing with their new pup, Bodie. As you can tell from Tyler's infectious giggle, he loved it! So enjoy the clip.....

Family Visitors

Last weekend, my brother Willie and nephew Jonathan, were in town from North Carolina. We always love having family from out-of-state, in town. It's always great to see them and spend some quality time with them. Below is a small sampling of pictures of some of the activites we did while they were in town.....

Interesting face at the Bee's game.

Butterfield Canyon

One day last week, Tyler asked me if we could go on a drive and have a picnic. Ok...maybe it was more like he said "Da-da" and I interpreted it as such. So, I packed a lunch for Tyler and a little something for me and we loaded up the truck after he woke up from his morning nap. I decided to drive up Butterfield Canyon, which is in the southwest portion of the Salt Lake valley. It's a fairly easy drive and provides great scenic views of the Salt Lake and Tooele valleys. At the top, we had lunch and enjoyed overlooking the giant copper pit. It was a perfect day and Tyler enjoyed the ride, even though it was a little bumpy at times. As you can see from the last picture below, it was so much fun that it wore him out!

Tyler had enough excitement for one day!
