July Pics

As July comes to an end, here are a few pictures from our busy month of July. From enjoying the outdoors to taking swim classes, July has flown by. One thing we've found out, is that Tyler loves fresh veggies from the garden. Just today, he devoured 2 small tomatoes from our garden at lunch. Tyler also loves beets, which Bampa's garden has provided. We need to get Tyler out to North Carolina to sample the jewels of my parents' garden.

Tyler loves to eat corn-on-the-cob.

What a lunch!! Cheese, crackers, green beans, and beets!

Hike in Albion Basin

Yesterday afternoon, we headed to the mountains to escape the brutal heat of the valley. Aubrey, myself, and Tyler went on a hike in Albion Basin, in the middle of Alta Ski Resort, with Bampa and Maddison. It was so nice and relaxing up there. The scenery was spectacular and the wildflowers are just starting to bloom up there. As you can see in some of the pictures, there's still snow in some spots on the mountain. It was a great little get-away on a Sunday afternoon. And even though we didn't make it to Cecret Lake due to a little rainshower, we had a great time with the kids. Tyler "tolerated" the backpack carrier and Maddie loved being pushed in the BOB stroller. I'm planning on taking TyTy back in the next or so to see the wildflowers in full bloom. I love summers in the Utah mountains!

My new favorite picture

This past weekend, while I was out in Wendover serving in my divemaster capacity to help certify students, Aubbie and TyTy went to the zoo on Saturday. As I was dumping the pictures from the camera onto the Mac this afternoon, I came across this picture and I love it. It's my new favorite picture of my boy and my sweetie.

"Bed" time

Below are a few pics I took last week of Tyler playing in our bed. He was having a blast rolling around in the pillows and giving dad a heart-attack by creeping toward the edges at times. I don't want to brag and maybe I'm a little biased, but Tyler maybe the cutest kid ever!! BTW....Tyler loves watching ceiling fans, which explains where he's looking in most of these pictures.
